Look for a 7-foot-tall man-eating credit card out on the UA mall today.
The vicious plastic monster is part of a new campaign by the Students
for Arizona Public Interest Research Group to educate students about
the debt trap posed by credit cards.
The counter-marketing effort starts with today’s event, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers say they’ll be passing out financial education material in
much the same manner that credit card companies target students.
It’s part of a national effort to eliminate unfair credit card marketing on college campuses.
Plus, you know, there’s the 7-foot-tall man-eating credit card.
